haha so i haven't had the time to update my blog.. well, explainable. teehee. i've been out for band everyday of my holidays ever since last saturday. xD well, i just love band too much.
so... band camp? haha. had fun!! xD. first night was nightwalk. at first everyone was apprehensive about it coz some ppl started seeing stuff, and ee zeng even went missing. but, fortunately, everything went smoothly, and ppl had fun. (:
the second day, in the morning sec 4s had sectionals, and since some parts we had to practise with other sections to get it synchronised, i decided to combine with horns and euphos. omfg after not using com for a few days, typing feels so retarded then slowly all the other sections joined in, and then shannon started to conduct us. LOL. we had combined right outside the EMAS room, 360-degrees around the conductor. And i'll proudly say, that we sounded bloody good. coz during that session, everyone was giving pointers and suggestions. And they were really effective, cause we really sounded like WOW. even shannon said it was really really good.
then after lunch, sec 4s had to prepare the props for the wet games, and some people were filling the water bombs while EZ was trying to flood the field with uncle chng's hose. I helped him spray water, and then OM came -.-
stupid extra guy. come scold scold. then he confiscated the hose. ah well. then we realised that the ppl filling the water bombs had been filling the NCC Sea people's bags!! :O
so nvm lor.. we found our own plastic bags stashed in the bag room, and started filling them. Robert also found a hose. haha dunno where. so preparations were executed.. and then the juniors came.. xD well maybe some ppl thought that it was a bit evil.. heeheehee..
my batch sec 1 that time ah more zzz lo. xDDD but damn fun. the sec 4s of 06 took toothpaste and ALOT of smelly tofu and smeared it all over us. and there was a plate of ketchup that ppl had to lick while rolling in the mud. and the ketchup had grass in it lo!! xD sigh.. good times...
then after wet games had practice till night.. sigh so irritating. so many people keep calling me out to open doors -.- one thing i get very very annoyed with. Can't you ppl just call me out once and then get ur stuff? i need practice too please..
then had patrol.. LOL mdm shahera was pawning all juniors. especially the girls.. so many of them switched dorms. got one sec 1 best. way after lights out, and just when we were in her dorm, she entered.
Mdm S.: hey you, where were you? lights out was 11.15pm.
Sec 1 girl: uh.. i was visiting my friend.
LOL big joke. still got the cheek to say that. the next day.. was practice and practice. heh. lunch was the best tho! (:
OH YES. had masterclass. it was the final session. AND WE FORGOT TO PREPARE A GIFT FOR MR KOE!!!! OMFG. feel damn bad can. coz we were in the middle of camp and did not think we would be having masterclass!! and then i took the sec 1s without joeann for sectionals.. lol bloody jokers. they kept laughing. especially that blur toot jiahao. "huh?" xDDDD
then break camp.. reached home at 10+pm. after taking a bath, i immediately went to sleep. (had to wake up at 4.50am the next day to reach school for QM duty.)
Shockingly, i awoke to a jumpstart when my handphone alarm read 5.40am. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jumped up from bed, and took a bath, had a quick breakfast, then took a cab. PHEW.
upon reaching school and meeting the chiang-man (andrew xDDD), i asked him why he brought his shoebag. LOL. then the fact crashed upon me that there was uniform check. I ABSOLUTELY FORGOT ABOUT IT WHEN I OVERSLEPT YTD MORNING. -.-
so had the exchange.. haha. it was.. enjoyable. haha. met this bass trombonist from dunearn. he... seems to be good. haha. but tone-wise, i think TK's 3 bass tbonists pawn him. and he would die if he ever knew hong wan. he blasts his notes like hell. as in really BLAST. punani hair. hehe and he even said St Pats was no kick. lol... no comments there. he seems.. confident? heh.
had lunch with the Crescent Girls ppl.. no comments here too. xD
then was emoing during the uniform check.. sigh. then after that Mdm Shaherah had a violent debate with my batch.. i feel rather guilty.
had a long talk with mr siao..
then me and chiang man went to clean the inst room, and uncovered a hell lot of treasures. REALLY TREASURES.
then today.. went to school for the bassoon and trumpet masterclasses.. and to do homework -.-
me and ee zeng took out our inst when we came, and the homework plan was immediately aborted -.-
so after chilling out, we went to clean the inst room again. hehehe. the two of us swept and mopped the place. SO BAND MEMBERS, PLEASE KEEP IT CLEAN.
there was rubbish everywhere -.- haha especially librarians and UMs ah! keep the 2nd tier clean!
then at 6.30 i went home with Chewman.. LOL. the moment i reached home, went for a haircut. ZZZZ
had dinner, and i was supposed to be doing hmwk -.- and yet i'm blogging. LOL.
hmm.. my father's having a very very heated argument with my uncle over the phone. he's shouting. lol..............................................
"It's not that it's no longer TK Band, it's just that the members are different. We're still TK Band. I still think we're the best band in the land. Not many bands can win BDB 5 times in a row. We did not lose last year you know, it's just the judging. Judging is very subjective. Last year, TK was second to perform. then there were five other bands to judge, before Deyi. It's like marking compo. you mark a good one, then you mark mark mark all the not-so-good ones, then comes along another band that stands out from the not so good ones. But it's not that good la, it's just standard one. of course u would give it very high marks. because the emotions are there at then. then after that u think back ah, u would think 'eh? how come i give that band so high marks?'
so basically its we did not lose, its just the judging. and also its like running in a race. u just need to slip abit, and they catch up, and then their chest abit forward, touch the line, and they win. then too bad liao lor. It may be just 0.1 points or whatever, but it's still a loss."
Who do you think said this? hehe take a guess.. Work hard, TK Band. Many people are expecting us to perform wonders this year and the next.
